PENNYWISE and the beginning of everything

That was the best concert for a long time!
Pennywise played at the palace in St. Kilda this sunday! We went there with Claire. Unfortunately the first support was already done, the Gingers. They are supposed to be really good, even their video is played here, but watch it yourself: the gingers (alright, they play it late at night).

The second support band was a bit of a ...well I think they sucked, even their homepage sucks: Goons of doom.
Poor things on stage...:( the audience started shouting for Pennywise after the second song!) And no one even clapped their hands as they left the stage.....

Pennywise were great! That was one of the best concerts for a long time and sure the best concert I saw in Australia. No one stood still after the second song and the mosh pit was a lot of fun, even though I could feel my age after a couple of songs.
Happy sweaty and exhausted we bought some t-shirts, well we needed new ones, went home and slept like babies!

On monday uni started! Juhu, I like it!
Hey, I really have to make some photos, because the main building looks quite familiar, kinda like the uni in hamburg, before they renovated it! What are they doing with all the fees of the international students? This building is still open to the public though they fear it might collapse......About 50% of the students are from overseas and they pay a hell lot of money and then you sit in a building and you don't know how long it will be standing?...20 000 international students paying at least 4000$ a semester.....what the hell are they doing with all the money?? Or who's getting rich?

My first seminar was really not my style, well I have no choice so i stay.
The lecturer's first comment was that she likes to make our live more complicated!? What the f*&$k?
I wanted to learn from her, not to be scared.
And she likes challanges! Great for her! But then I found out that she likes to challange us! Hey ma'm, I'm here to learn stuf! I just moved to this country and have to deal with your language and stuff, I think that's enough challange for me!
Well, you might say, I shouldn't complain and all the Aussies might feel different about that! Well, I can ask the 2 Aussies out of 30 participants in my seminar next week how they feel about that.
Even better is that she doesn't care about democracy that much! As if I care! I don't even think it is the best way to deal with people, but I start missing it!
Her assistent and another student announced after the break, that WE are having some food in the seminar! The assistent takes tea and coffee with her! Eh, tea and coffee ist fine! What was that about the food again?
Oh yeah, every week someone else brings some food along!
- Ahh, I don't wanna eat with you! - Did I mention that I'm not here to eat but to learn?
Well no one ever ask me!

All the material she wanted to put online weeks ago isn't online jet and the best part of my homework is to spend 4 hours on public transport to get to a library where they have a certain journal and I need excactly one copy of one page out of that! Hey that's fun and I can learn..... ........... ............ what ever!

Anyway I like my online seminar! All the material is online, it is interesting and there are so many different options and the task seem ...challanging?????
The lecturer works at my campus and already invited me to come along. NICE!

I'll need another wire to connect my mobile to the mac and then i can upload some pics of fletcher and his friends.

Love you all. Lisa
