the beginning of summer

Hey everyone,
I'm glad it's tuesday again! This means it's GO-GO dancing Day! Juhu!

Alright I'm supposed to keep up with what I'm doing. Actually that's really boring right now.I was working the last 11 days and apart from going to the pub with Claire, which always ends both of us being pissed and going surfing and playing Guitar Hero 2 really nothing happend. Well that's pretty awesome and I like it, so I'm happy and with all the money I earn I'll buy a nice artwork soon!

Happy life in Australia!
I hope all of you are good and I'm looking forward to seeing you again and hang out.

Uh and I'm lucky having a hairdresser as a

friend so I don't look like this anymore!

More like this!

Love Lisa

end of the semester

Hey everyone,
sorry it took me so long to write in english again. A lot of things happened in the meantime so I will try to start in the middle and confuse you as usual. But that's just a lot more fun for me!

I handed in my last assignment on the 22nd of October...(really long ago) and that night we went to the AVAIL conert in the Arthouse. That's a pretty small venue so it was really nice. One of the support bands were the HUNTSMEN and they were really good and even played an awesome cover of a face to face song, I actually can't remember...could be 'walk the walk'. Anyway, I had a lot of fun dancing and headbanging!

Next thing I did was to decide, well actually the confusion of not being chronological begins here, because I decided that about a month ago, that I won't study further here in Australia.
To keep it short. It's fucking expensive and I think it's a rip off of international students. I felt like a student in Germany, doing everything on my own. Not getting any feedback for previously handed in assignments, so that I could improve. The lecturers didn't answere any emails and requests posted on our online portal for the last three weeks of the 2nd big assignment. Can you believe it?
Well and the other course wasn't much better though I got the literature of the internet, so I didn'd have to drive through the whole city to get a book I need for my essay...and there the fellow students were really helpful and someone always had an answer for the new students.
But I cannot reconstruct where all my money went and what I got for that. Maybe it's the privilege of studying....
I really don't want to support this studying system anymore!

Well now I just found another job, conducting telephone surveys. That's good money and hopefully not as much stress and physical work as the kitchen hand job.
Additionally that job really starts to drag me down...cutting meat and stuff isn't something I like and I have to admit that the smell of dead meat isn't a nice one, either way raw or cooked, I find it disgusting! - wah!

Anyway, I'll go GO-GO dancing now, and will tell you my future plans another time!
Take care and be nice to everyone....:D
